I'm Lotte May, and this is my story.
When I was diagnosed with stage 4B Hodgkin's lymphoma, my world turned upside down. Chemotherapy brought a wave of side effects that left me feeling like a stranger in my own body. Simple tasks became monumental challenges. Desperate for relief, I spent countless hours and far too much money searching for products that could ease my discomfort. The lack of guidance and support from healthcare professionals left me feeling isolated and frustrated.
One evening, surrounded by a pile of ineffective remedies and facing yet another sleepless night, a thought struck me: There has to be a better way. I couldn't be the only one struggling to find effective solutions amidst the chaos of treatment. The idea for Comfort Crate was born—a vision to transform the cancer journey by providing a curated collection of tried-and-tested products to manage side effects and restore a sense of normalcy.
I established a community of fellow cancer patients and survivors. Together, we shared our experiences, tested the most promising products, and discovered what genuinely works.
