Why we support Blood Cancer UK

blood cancer awareness

'When I was first diagnosed with blood cancer, the information I received was overwhelming. Then I discovered the Blood Cancer UK website, where the information was much easier to digest and helped me come to terms with my diagnosis.

Now that I have recovered, I am dedicated to raising funds for those living with blood cancer and supporting the incredible work Blood Cancer UK does for this community. To achieve this, I have launched a line of gifts and accessories featuring one of my original illustrations. I chose the Kingfisher for my design because it symbolizes overcoming fears, good fortune, and freedom.

This inspiration came from a Kingfisher that would sit by my living room window during my six months of chemotherapy, offering me hope and strength to carry on.' - Lotte May
